Federal Skilled Trades Program

Did you know that a carpenter and a plumber can earn more than a software engineer in Canada? Canadians treat highly skilled workers of almost every profession with respect.

The Express Entry - Federal Skilled Trades program is beneficial for applicants with special skills who hold a valid employment offer or a certificate of qualification. This program is designed to help them gain a permanent resident status in Canada.

Canada has an emerging need of skilled workers in its workforce. The scarcity of skilled labor has raised the bar of daily wages and incomes of skilled workers in a growing economy. This program, developed by the Canadian government, is made to ensure the country attracts and retains skilled workers of every occupation needed in Canada. This is why high-skilled professionals are migrating from their home country and applying for the Federal Skilled Trades program. The program is a part of the Express Entry system, designed to help the right talent find work in Canada quickly.
