A relatively high range of 440-460 levels is due to the start of the new year, which brings in higher score of candidates. A provincial nominee certificate awards 600 points towards Federal Express Entry.
In January of each year, every province has a quota of approximately 10,000 issues new certificates to eligible candidates.
For example, On Feb 13, 2018 the province of Ontario, issued certificates to 488 Express Entry Candidates. This has directly resulted in the CRS score surge.
We compare the invitation rounds from the last year, we will notice a pattern on the CRS score levels. On April 5, 2017, the CRS score which admitted PR candidates came down to 431 from the previous draw of 440-460 levels. Subsequently, the score came down to 423, 415 in the following draws until the low of 413 points was reached on May 5, 2017, after which the scores bounced back to the 440-460 range in the next draws.
Based on previous years data, we predict the score to fall in 415-435 levels in the summer of 2018.
